Gary Salmirs created the Ironwill Foundation in 2008 to raise money to create a generation of informed and empowered kids who trigger a chain reaction of healthy living. Once the poster boy for the successful, overweight, out-of- shape businessman, Gary Salmirs turned his health around and set out to do the same for people in underserved communities without the resources or knowledge to live healthy lifestyles. Gary was able to turn his life around and complete three Ironman races, as well as multiple marathons. Through Ironwill Foundation, Gary shares his passion for healthy living with families throughout the country.

After graduating with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin, Lindsey moved to New York City, eager to join the new tech boom that was under way. In 2001, Lindsey joined Traffix and quickly excelled to become the highest revenue generating sales person. In 2003 Lindsey left Traffix and partnered with Gary Salmirs to create Lead Financial Group, an online digital marking agency specializing in consumer financial products that is still flourishing today. Lindsey enhanced her skills as an entrepreneur by working with Fortune 500 accounts while managing a full marketing and operations team. Lindsey’s passion has always been healthy eating and living an active lifestyle. As a mom of 3, she understands how difficult it can be to keep your family’s health a priority while also juggling a full time job. Through the Ironwill Foundation, Lindsey helps other families make nutrition and health a priority in their lives.

Robert Friedman is a partner in the Business Trial and White Collar Practice Groups the firm’s New York office. He heads the Business Trial Practice Group in New York. Mr. Friedman has tried over sixty cases and regularly represents financial institutions, technology companies, internet marketers and litigation trustees in significant business disputes. When Robert is not at the office he focuses on living a healthy lifestyle, which includes eating healthy and being active. He has finished 5 marathons and plays baseball regularly. Through the Ironwill Foundation, Robert help kids and families across the nation get on the right track to a healthy life.
Elizabeth Carlin, M.D.
Chief of Pediatrics, Englewood Hospital
Dr. Elizabeth Carlin is the Chief of Pediatrics at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center in New Jersey. She has been an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine since 1996. Dr. Carlin received her medical degree from Boston University and completed her residency in Pediatrics at Boston City Hospital. She completed a Neonatal/Perinatal Medicine Fellowship at the Mount Sinai Medical School. Through the Ironwill Foundation, Dr. Carlin spreads her passion and knowledge to families across the country to prevent them from getting obesity related diseases.

John Greany has been in the direct marketing industry for 28 years. He started his career in 1987 at Jami Marketing and quickly worked his way up to becoming one of the top list brokers, eventually becoming a partner in 1991. In 1998 Jami was acquired by InfoUSA and John continued to climb the corporate ladder as Vice President of List Brokerage for InfoUSA/Walter Karl, where he stayed for six years. In 2004 John joined Media Directions where he became a full partner and is now acting president. Healthy eating and exercise has been an important aspect of John’s life for the past twenty years. He and his wife have dedicated themselves to an organic lifestyle along with an hour of exercise every day. Through the Ironwill Foundation, John helps educate and spark a passion within individuals, inspiring them to live a healthy and happy lifestyle.

Joshua Albolm is the Chief Operating Officer at GRPAds. He knows all about hard work, dedication and leadership from his days as a Division I tennis player at the University of Arizona. His experience leading marketing operations for the largest student loan company in the US valued at over $800M, has proven to be a major force behind GRP’s expanding international business. Growing up with a father who is a stage 4 cancer survivor and Ironman competitor inspired Joshua to be committed to fitness and living a healthy lifestyle at a young age. He was the Assistant Head Tennis Pro at Montammy Golf Club for 7 years and is well known in the community for his tennis accolades and his continuing desire to stay fit. Joshua can be seen with push-up bars in the office to maintain his utmost commitment to living a healthy lifestyle! With the Ironwill Foundation, he continues to influence and motivate others with the same commitment to a healthy lifestyle, which helped save his fathers life!
